Designing Tomorrow's Footwear: A Collaboration with Suseong Woo
We’re thrilled to share details of an exciting design collaboration with the incredibly talented footwear designer, Suseong Woo! Known for her futuristic and eco-conscious approach, Suseong’s work constantly pushes the boundaries of footwear design, and this collection is no exception.
Drawing deeply from the natural world, this collaboration takes biomimicry as its core inspiration. Suseong’s concept designs beautifully translate the geometric design found in the cellular structures of oceanic life into striking and innovative shoe silhouettes. Think irregular lines and elegant curved forms reimagined for the modern foot.

Drawing deeply from the natural world, this collaboration takes biomimicry as its core inspiration. Suseong’s concept designs beautifully translate the geometric design found in the cellular structures of oceanic life into striking and innovative shoe silhouettes. Think irregular lines and elegant curved forms reimagined for the modern foot.
One standout piece is the mid sneaker boot with a 3D printed sole, powerfully inspired by the complex and sadly threatened structure of coral reefs and coral bleaching. This design serves as a poignant reminder of one of Earth’s most vulnerable ecosystems.
Another captivating creation is the Montopora Digitatas sneaker, a 3D printed detachable skeleton sneaker. Taking direct inspiration from the unique formations of the Montopora Digitatas coral, the sole’s silhouette is a stylish embodiment of nature’s artistry.
Across the collection, a unifying theme emerges, celebrating the often-hidden complexities of coral reefs. Building upon the themes of the “White Coral” collection, this collaboration also introduces a compelling new concept: exploring the negative space found between the interior and exterior of the shoe.
