Loesche required detailed models of one of their mills boths for us in presentations and as display center pieces.
LUMA employed the detailed SLS 3D printing technique which was able to provide the essential detail as well as the seize. The center piece model was printed at a large scale of approximately 300mm tall, with a cut away section showing off the internal components. This is by far the largest and most detailed model we have created for a client.
We took the highly detailed manufacturing CAD model and drawings and resized everything along with several section-views to visualise what is inside the coal mills.
Painted to the exact RAL colour as the real thing.
The grey blocks were 3D printed in nylon by 3DPRINTUK.
