Originally inspired by a police officer who commonly worked in enclosed spaces, the Valo Lux hand torch concept was a design born of necessity. Whilst head torches are commonly used by emergency services, they often dazzle colleagues and are not always aimed in the most optimal direction. To solve this problem LUMA came up with a versatile torch concept that attaches to the back of the hand via an elastic strap. Magnets also allow the torch to be removed from the hand and placed on any magnetic surface. Fully waterproof and containing 2x Li-Ion batteries, the torch is aimed at any emergency service that requires a more universal solution for personal lighting.
